CREATING A NEW PRESENTATION

After starting MS PowerPoint 2013, a window will display on screen as illustrated below:





In this window it gives all facilities how to start presentation. When you start PowerPoint you may have choice to Create or Open a presentation. On left side of window display facility for Start with existing presentation and right side window display facility to start a new presentation through template or Blank. From recent list you can choose your existing presentation which are listed in Recent Part or if not available in recent part then you can chose “Open other Presentation” then it will display open dialog box and you can open.

To creating new presentation:

  • Click on File and Select New, New presentation window will appear.




  • From this window you can select one out of two types which are listed below:

    • 1. BLANK PRESENTATION:-it provides to create complete blank which allows to custom designed presentation as user choice.

    2. INSTALLED TEMPLATES AND THEMES:- It is a sample presentation of preformatted and animated. It’s provides knowledge about presentation and you can also edit text and insert image, table, chart etc. as your requirement and create new as like that template. This facility use only for quick presentation creation.
